How to reprogram Python 4Button Remote 474P ?
I had the exact same thing happen with my 4-button 474p remote. WITHOUT REMOTE START the correct sequence is:
1. Enter car - Leave door open.
2. Turn key to "on" position.
3. Within 5 (five) seconds press the Valet button 7 times then hold down. (Programs to channel 7)
4. Watch alarm light - It should now flash 7 times.
5. While still holding down the Valet button - Press the "lock" button on the remote and release. Should get a "chirp" 6. Now release and repress the Valet button once, holding down. You'll get the "chirp". Release Valet button.
7. Turn key "off". Exit vehicle and test remote. All 4 buttons should now work.
Remote start/alarm works not working properly
First, find the fuse, and sensor to the devise. Pull the fuse and waite a few minutes then replace. Do the same with the sensor, this will clear the devise settings on the cars computer. Then start your car and let it run through the computer system check of all car devises, it will locate the Python devise and resetit. If you have trouble in this process, look your unit up on line and call the tech department and they will walk you through the process. Then go back to Jeffy Lube and have them comp you for their lack of knowing how to work "around" this devise.

Install
First, lift box that contains system with both hands and gently place on shelf. Next, use internet search engine of your choice (google, bing, etc.) and type in "professional alarm installer". Select installer in your area, pick up phone and dial number.The installation of an automotive security system requires (at least) a general knowledge of automotive electrical systems as well as a general knowledge of the installation of aftermarket automotive electronic components. Your question is so vague that it's almost humorous.
Why is my car battery going dead overnight
When switched off, remove the battery cable and place an Ampere meter. If there is none or almost no current, nothing is wrong in the car. Just your battery is on its end of life.
If you find there is a current of a few ampere, try to find the consume, by pulling the fuses one by one. One at the time and replace before you pull the next one.

Car remote starts then shuts off and restarts
I assume it did work properly once. Possibly it doesn't know your car is running. This is usually sensed by measuring the voltage rise as the alternator generates power. Check your car battery is ok and that it is charging properly.
