Hi. I have a problem with my fujitsu lifebook t4215. When windows is runnning and I change the notebook to tablet config, I cannot get the display/screen automatically rotated. Even when I press the Screen Rotation button, the screen orientation remains unchanged. What should I do to fix this. Thank you.

Do you have Windows 10? As there may be an issue with screen rotation.

However to check your settings:

  1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
  2. Click the Start menu and select Settings.
  3. Click System.
  4. Click Display.
  5. Scroll down and check the status of Lock rotation of this display .

SOURCE: I have recently purchased a Fujitsu T4200 Series

If you recently purchased the tablet, you can get it replaced/or fixed for free by calling the manufacturer. They should fix it within a week.

Good day! What password are you refering to? Is it the one used for logging into the unit itself?
You can try the work around below.

- You can try to restore the unit back to it's factory settings if you don't have any important files in the hard drive.

My fujitsu lifebook t4215 will not connect to the internet. When I check the connection, it says that it is connected, but when I try to bring up Internet pages, it won't bring any up.
So you're connecting with WiFi eh? I take it you've already disconnected and reconnected with no progress?

Next would be to shut it down, and reboot. Try it again.

Are you connecting through a router? You might be "connected" to the router/hub but it may not be actually connected to the internet. Can anything else you have or someone else connect to the internet through the same connection? If so then we know the connection is good, and it's the Lifebook.

Look for "NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER" and see what that looks like. It should show you a graphic of the connection and you may find it as I described above. You need to eliminate or identify your condition at this point.

Call the Fujitsu service 800 number, you may still be under warranty.
It sounds like the inverter has burnt out, take it to a Fujitsu authorized repair shop, your tablet has a security feature that will lock you out if it is opened by an unauthorized repair shop or anyone else for that matter.
They take your tablet security very serious.

You need to send it to Memphis, Tn for a factory reset, call the Fujitsu 800 number on there web site and have your serial number handy.

Don't disassemble a Fujitsu!! Ever!
