These Eclipse head units have an anti-theft system. The original owner must select a CD to serve as the "key" for the unit. If anyone else wants to use it, the key CD must be inserted in order for it to work. You may want to call Eclipse customer service with the serial number ready.

Most current head units incorporate this as anti-theft/security feature. The "code" would be exclusive to the particular unit that you have. Often this would be in a sticker or printed in the owner's manual or given to you together with the receipt or proof of purchase. Since the unit was purchased through eBay, you need to get in touch with the seller/original owner to get the code. It is not printed in unit anywhere. Alternately, you can try to get in touch with the manufacturer or the original dealer and with proof of purchase request for the code.

Get the serial number from radio and call the dealer and ask for service deparmet and ask them for the code they will ask for serial nmber on radio
