No security code audio system
These units do not have a security code like some radios. Instead, they are coded using a CD. You insert a CD into the radio and it codes to that disc. You need that same CD if you ever want to unlock the player. If you don't have it, you are SOL. Eclipse is no longer in business and they were the only ones that could reset it. The system is known as "ESN Security".
ESN Security: This unit is equipped with the Eclipse Security Network. You can register a particular music CD as a "key" device which unlocks the security. If the registered CD is not detected, the navigation and audio functions will be disabled when the main unit is disconnected from and reconnected to the vehicle's battery.
I installed my cd player but it only plays the
by "play" im assuming u mean no audio... check the wires, in the back there should be 2 blue wires, one has a white stripe... splice them together or reverse them... it sounds like you have it hooked up to the power antenna wire (should be solid blue wire) is sending power for the amp to turn on only when the fm is playing... you want the amp turn on wire (blue with a white stripe) to be hooked to that factory wires so when the radio is on your factory amp is triggered... if that doesn't work let me know there are other thing you can try...

are you running separate amps for the woofer and speakers??? sounds like you have the woofer amp being turned on be the amp remote wire (blue/white) and the speaker amp turned on with the power antenna remote wire (blue). if this is the case you need to use the blue/white to turn both amps on.

If you have an amplifier hooked up make sure that the correct blue wire on the harness is connected. One of the wires is the remote amp turn-on, the other is for a power antenna. That would be why your radio plays through your speakers, the power antenna wire' when the source is set to radio, sends a 12 volt signal. That would turn on your amp if thats the way that its hooked up.

A couple of suggestions. Check ALL the fuses, most units have 2 or more. Search the front panel carefully, many units have a tiny 'reset' switch, which is activated by pushing a pencil point into it's hole. They are usually marked, but with tiny letters.
