The Different virtual machines would be the best way to go unless its a big program like AutoCAD then i would recommend going with BOOTCAMP.
A nice Virtual machine is VMware Fusion
I wouldn't want turboV to run without prompt: so anyone could adjust system voltages. If this is what turboV does, no way, and mine sadly doesn't need permission to run. Fortunately, I am the only user.
Sounds like rundll32 got currupted by the virus, this is not uncommon. Perhaps you should locate a good copy. This site seems to have a good tutorial on how to do that: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Fix-Rundll32.exe?&id=913723
I'm sure SJ664EN.EXE is just the installer. Once installed there may be several applications, with one of their files named HPPRSCAN.EXE, just look in the Windows programs menu for HP.
