Google pixel 2xl keyboard won't appear
go to settings to be sure you have not turned the function off, also when you have clicked the screen and put the couser in the box were you expect to type and keyboard to appear,, holding the phone in hand tip the phone forward, so the top of the phone is lowered but not to drop it,, this function normally works for all smart phones tipping the phone forward in your hand allows the keyboard to appear,
Do I need Google and chrome on my phone?
Do you NEED either app? No.
- However the Google app gives you the ability to quickly do a Google search.
- Google Chrome is a good, stable, mobile web browser for surfing the web.
However do you HAVE to run either of them? No you don't.
How do I fix Google Hangouts? Says no connection can't connect to server.
I presume that you can get to all other websites using a web browser (like Internet Explorer or Chrome). Try this:
- RIGHT Click START. Now left click RUN
- In the box that pops up, type CMD.EXE and click OK.
- A black 'DOS-like' box pops up.
- In the box, type IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS then hit enter.
- Close the black box by clicking the X in the top right corner.
- Reboot your computer and then try Hangouts. Let me know if still have problems.
Unlocking a v20 its google acct locked
I presume you mean that you've lost or forgotten the Google account password associated with your V20. Here is how to reset it. Note the hyperlinks in the instructions below.
- Follow the steps to recover your account. You'll be asked some questions to confirm it's your account and an email will be sent to you. If you don't get an email:

We have just gotten a Google Wifi. How do I disconnect my Arris network?
- Your Arris cable modem/router should be setup in bridge mode from the Arris admin screen. - Your Arris cable modem should have wifi turned off otherwise you'll have 4 wifi networks in your home. - Your google wifi plugs into (via cable) the back of your Arris using one of the 4 LAN jacks. The google uses the incoming signal from the Arris to create your wifi signal. - Install the google wifi app on your phone.- Place your google devices around your home.- Connect to your first google device and get it connected to your Arris, setup the wifi (SSID) name and password. - Then connect your devices to the new network name. I am trying to set up the google store account and it wont let me and says its not communicating with google
You have 2 separate issues here. For the issue of connecting to the Google Play store to setup your device, you should have received an error code or message. I need than and I can assist further.
For the issue of creating another Google account, if the email address you want to create was already used by another Google user, you won't be allowed to create it again. Add another couple of characters at the end of the name and try again (ie: instead of jim@gmail.com create jim025@gmail.com.
