There are several ways to hard reset Sprint LG Rumor:
1. Go into your security settings and do a standard reset.
Your password would be the last 4 of your phone number, unless changed already.
2. ##786# the select Reset. Password would be your MSL, which sprint has (call customer care for your MSL).
This is a factory reset, this will reset everything.

Hi,
If you have forgot the codes for your mobile you can unlock it by using the last four digits of your phone number or four zeros. If these codes are not working you can contact your network service provider to get the unlock codes.
If you need to reset your mobile then press the "Menu" button,from main menu scroll to "Settings/Tools" and select the option by pressing the center "Menu/OK" button.Scroll to "Settings" and select.Scroll and select "More". Scroll to "Security" and press your "Menu/OK" button.Enter in your phone's security code when prompted.
Select "Reset/Erase", then "Reset". A warning message will appear.
Press the "Menu/OK" button, then highlight and select "Yes" to confirm the reset.

You can take it to your carriers store and they can access the phone and either tell you what the unlock code is or remove it for you. This is the only way as you must prove you are the owner of the phone.
