is ther require any lubrication? i brought a silicon grease for gearing system.

It's an calibration error caused in the optics section. Make sure there is nothing on the scanner glass but the cover itself. Turn the power off, wait 30 seconds and turn the power back on again.

Do you hear any grinding noises when the machine is initializing?

    The code does have a service code to delte itself. Check to make sure that the scanner glass lock isn't enabled. It is located underneath the scanner on the left side.



    Keep an eye on the cable as well underneath the scanner and make sure that it isn't jamming the copier as well. Let me know if it is.

    If the scanner is jamming underneath the cable, you can take some scotch tape and secure it down flat onto the surface. I've seen that happen before.
