Printer

Question

I am having trouble adding a printer to the IMAC.  It is a lexmark all in one x4550.  When i try to print the system says there is a problem and shuts down the program i am in. i am new to MACs and have no idea what is wrong.  Everything is installed the way it should be.

Which OS do you have 10.4 or 10.5?

To add printers in 10.5 go to your system preferences and you will see a Printer & Fax icon. This is where you add printers.

In 10.4 go to your applications folder and then into your Utilities folder. There is Printer Utility application where you can add printers from there.
