Watch won't work after changing battery

Shortcut battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs..

Timing is off bad on the cuckoo part of the clock. It won't stop and runs till the weight hits the ground.

We had the problem with ours when I was a kid. What we did on ours was to turn the hands until the clock cuckoos. Then we removed the hands from the stem and placed them back at the correct time. Hopefully, you can remove the hands from the stem without a problem. Don't force it however. Good luck.

Well Melissa, you have about a hundred parts or more in the watch. If anyone of them is dirty, broken or whatever your watch will not run. You need to go talk with a watchmaker (not a jeweler) about your watch. If your watch hasn't been "overhauled" in the last ten years then that is most likely what is indicated. Watch oils and greases evaporate or turn to a scummy mess which may be the problem. Or you may have a broken balance staff. Or you may have rust and dirt built up to the point the watch can't overcome it.

The back of my timex fell off when i was putting it on this morning. I can't seem to get it to go back on. Please advise.

hello there are alot of watches that have a very tight snapon back, some times just squeezing the back cover with your two thumbs just won't do. some back covers are tapered so as to ensure an air tight seal. Do Not lay crystal face down and try to force it on with heavy pressure. you run the risk of cracking the crystal, Hence NEW WATCH TIME. take the watch into any jewelry store they have tools to do this with without harming the watch. wood blocks with cutout holes , so the bezel rests on the wood and not the crystal. it take ten seconds and they will do it free. hope that was helpful

your watch is chronograph,. and it is not in the picture. probably your problem is the second hand won,t move, it is because that the sub dial on the lower part it is the real second hand. the big second hand is for the stopwatch. the to sub dial on the upper sides of your watch. the upper button/bumper is to start and stop the stopwatch or the big second hand and the bottom bumper/button is to reset it. i hope this can solve the problem...

mcdevito75 here, Hello Deirdre, the first thing to do is to let the ebay seller you won these items from know your haveing a problem with any money owed due to a non-verify number, this way the seller who you won the items from knows you intend to pay for them. You can contact the seller whom you won the items from by clicking on my ebay at the top of any ebay page then with the drop down menu click on won, once at the page of items you won, next to the item you won click the option on the far right sde of the item title, in the drop down menu click on contact seller. Once you have contacted the seller with your problem, then call ebay at 1-800-701-3229 you can also call paypal at 1-877-672-9725 or 1-402-935-7733 or 1-888-221-1161 and see about fixing any problems with your account.

How do i know my watch is fuctioning well???

mcdevito75 Here, Basically a well functioning watch will of course wind up or if it"s quartz will run, and keep accurate time thruout the day, mostly to with-in 1-2 minutes of your computer clock located on your screen lower right side and your watch shoulldn"t loose more than say 4--6 Minutes over night. If you watch meets these standards, you have a good running watch. Of course if your watch is a wind-up, it won:t hurt to have it serviced, cla
