I suppose you have the developer in the developer unit, YES????
If so you just need to do developer initialization.
Press yellow key.
press on the key pad 107.
Old red key at least 3 sec.(if you did everything well you are in SP MODE)
Press 1 (to copy sp)
Search 2 drum (one time on the left key)
Press ok
Search SP 214 Developer initialization
Press execut

A) To reset developer signal press: # key __ interrupt key __ C key __ interrupt key __ 42 __ ready __ 1 __ ready . and you may have to check program 41 for developer counter cycle
B) check the developer

1. Entering the simulation mode
Perform the following procedure to enter the simulation mode.
Clear key, Interrupt key , "0" key , Interrupt key , 42, Start key , 1 , Start key

Do you mean its asking for a user code or is it asking for maintenance.??
The Developer comes in a bottle...all of the developer is replaced and then you need to access the Simulation modes to be able to run the developer set-up or the machine will not know you have replaced the developer.

It's not developer light.
It is drum unit light and maintenance.
You have to replace the Drum, Blade and Developer.
After changing them you have to reset the maintenance, drum,developer counter.
This procedure must be made by a copier tech.

But if you still want only the developer the code is AR-202D

Adjust developer brush two side screw down or up position.

Press C00C or C interupt key 0 interupt key and 41 for developer counter display 42 for developer counter clear 46 for exposure level adjustment 72 for maintenance preset counter setting 25 for automatic developer adjustment. 40 for developer preset counter display.

Select Service Setting using the up/down cursor key

U130 Initial setting for the developer
Description
Executes toner install operation.
Purpose
To operate when replacing the process unit.
Method
1. Press the enter key. A selection item appears.
2. Select On using the up/down cursor keys.
3. Press the enter key.
4. Turning the power switch off and back on.
ADDING TONER is displayed and installation of toner starts.
5. After approximately 15 minutes, the installation is completed and the machine becomes ready
.U157 Checking/clearing the developing drive time
Description
Displays the developing drive time for checking or changing a figure.
Purpose
To enter the developing drive time again after carrying out initialization with U020 and to clear the developing
drive time when replacing process unit.
Method
1. Press the enter key. The developing drive time is displayed in minutes.
2. Change the setting using the left/right cursor keys or numeric keys.
Setting range: 0 to 99999
To clear the developing drive time, set the value to 0.
3. Press the enter key. The value is set.
Completion
Press the back key. The indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.

After you replace developer, press #, interrupt, c , interrupt keys in that order. Display will go off, press 42 print 01 print for developer reset. Press Interrupt key twice and press 20 print 01 print for serviceman reset. Press CA key .

HII.best way is that u have to replace developer with new one .new developer will reset it automatically.for to reset in this condition
