Wireless Problem I have the problem activating my wireless LAN, and when I open the "Network Connection", there isn't any icon inside. What should I do? When I try to click on "Set up a home or small office network", after I have click the Next button twice under the "Network Statupe Wizard", on the third page of the "Network Statupe Wizard", it prompt this: "The wizard found disconnected network hardware." And I cannot proceed anymore after that. What should I do?

After having to reinstall the factory settings on my R50e, I have lost my wireless connection. Has anyone else had the same problem and if so how did you resolve it?

Hi,
If your computer found Disconnected Network Hardware, then you should have a small icon at the bottom right hand side of the Screen, Taskbar. Click on the arrow pointing left. which will reveal all icons. If you have a tv screen with a red X on it. then your device is already installed, but has a problem or not setup correctly. Right click and Open Network Connections. right click on the item that relates to your hardware ( wireless LAN Connection ) see what options you have. Repair Connection/ et,c , From there you can Also troubleshoot the Device further. ** Do Not Rate this Post Until your Problem Is resolved**
I will assist you further if required, based on these conditions.

Kanasai, sounds like the wirless adaptor is turned off, normally this is the result of the power settings sutting it down on batteries to conserve power. you should have a FN key combination to turn it back on , for example on my ASUS its the "FN" key and the "F2" key at the same time.
Basicly you can check the device manager to see if the wireless adaptor is enabled. then look at what software manages the wirless connection
