How do I split screen computer and TV. Then be able to listen to the TV. I can pip from the (PC Mode) which brings up the TV in the small box, but it it wont swap to make it big & computer small. Plus it says, unavail in current mode. I need to put info up on computer and loop it, but I also need to have the wx channel playing for our drivers.

try changing the hdmi cable to hdmi1 slot, also try with component cables, since they are HD also. also check to see if tv is in air or cable status

I have a Samsung HP5053 Plasma Flat Screen and there was a cracking noise and the picture clarity changed to dull. Does anyone else have information on recalls for this TV?

If by regular cables you are talking about the standard red/yellow/white composite cables, then, yes, it will affect HD as composite cannot send an HD signal. Only HDMI and component (red/blue/green video only) cables.

Change to HDMI and let us know if it works for you.

It might have got a smallpoer surge and if you unpulg the set fromthe wall that should rest everthing back to normal, also check the inpu voltage going to PIP module.
