Typing problem when I type on this laptop, all of a sudden the next line cuts into a previous typed line, so I have to take the mouse cursor and reposition it on the next blank line. It is an intermittent problem. I replaced the keyboard, but it still does the same thing. I'm using openoffice 2.3 version, I'm using microsoft word. it even happened when I was on the internet typing in some information on a website.

Hi, I tried disconnecting the external mouse and making some mouse adjustments, and I was typing for a little bit, then it started again where the typing would jump back into previous typed text. I actually have the external mouse and the built in one. from the previous response to my question, this time I tried typing by being very careful not to go near the built in mouse and so far, I haven't notice the problem happening.



so I'll keep monitoring this situation.

how do you disable the built-in mouse on the laptop. I thought I did it, but it didn't work. after I got to device manager and clicked on the Alp Touch Pad and advance settings, I went to "detection disabled", but that didn't work.
