What is code 19? - Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook

This article might help you in fixing the error code 19. I have tested this one and it worked for me. The error means that the optical driver got corrupted.

5. In the right pane, click UpperFilters.
   
   Note You may also see an UpperFilters.bak registry entry. You do not have to remove that entry. Click UpperFilters only. If you do not see the UpperFilters registry entry, you still might have to remove the LowerFilters registry entry. To do this, go to step 8.
6. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
7. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
8. In the right pane, click LowerFilters.

Device manager error code 19, is caused by registry error windows cant start the hardware due to this error
you can uninstall the driver to cure this and download from this link new driver if windows does not reinstall, check device manager (normally cd/dvd drive i think) http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
