Hi u might have to reset ...,to factory settings.
but before u do try putting tablet into
SAFE MODE .Press power button till
turn off icon is on ..touch the icon & a
safe mode icon will open .
press ok..cheers
I would try uninstalling the Facebook app and re-installing it and see if this fixes the issue. Before doing that however make sure that the tablet has been fully powered off and restarted if you have not done so since the update was installed - that may also cure the problem.
You don't say what tablet you've got, but this works on Nexus7 with Android operating system. No harm in trying it.:
Hold down the on/off switch. The system will go into shut-down. KEEP HOLDING THE SWITCH DOWN. After 15-20 seconds you will get the start-up screen as it reboots. You can let go now.
You have reset to factory settings but all your apps and data should still be in place. They are on a Nexus, anyway. I take no responsibility if this doesn't work on your system.
To update you on my Nexus7 not connecting to the Internet was solved by pressing the button on my router and also pressing the two arrows (that form a circle on my Nexus) at the same time and it connects right away.I hope this helps other people with the same problem.....Colin Bett
Yes with the USB cable that came with the Nexus7 charger. It looks like any external storage eg digital camera so you can copy and delete stuff through the PC.
