Error code I am receiving an error code SC385 and cannot use the copier at all. Does anyone know what this error code is and a fix for it? Thanks

ID sensor dirty or  faulty ID sensor, Old drum, worn developer. When cleaning sensor be careful if you use a vacumcleaner can blow sensor with static. Ideally call service engineer.

The ID sensor is the Image Density sensor. It meassures the toner density on the drum under spesific conditions (laser intensity and different voltages). Worn drum or old developer can not generate full color (toner) coverage. The ID sensor value helps the machine to adjust to worn drum and old developer - and still make OK copies.
