SOURCE: I need a validation for QuickBooks 2006.

There should be one included in the package. Otherwise you will have to request key from quickbook.

You have to register the program with intuit to get a validation code. You can do it by phone or online from the program.

I use VersaCheck Instant Checks to print checks with Quickbooks. It is asking me to add a validation code in order to continue printing checks. The validation code is not on the box of checks nor is there...
Validation codes for Versacheck check paper comes in each box of paper. If you look thru all the other papers and CDs that come with your paper, you will find a piece of paper with a validation code.

You will probably be able to print checks without the validation code but it will extra clicking every time.
