I have a problem with bluetooth. when i press the bluetooth button on the keyboard it tell me that i have no bluetooth device. anyone can say if this laptop have the option of bluetooth, or acer put this button just for promotion. laptop is acer 6920

According to Acer’s web site it dose have Bluetooth.
Unfortunately it can be difficult to link a Bluetooth device with a computer.
You need to open there Bluetooth utility and start a scan to find any local
Bluetooth devices. Make sure that the device you want to link to is turned on
or that the Bluetooth is turned on (phone or other computer) and is scanning
for new Bluetooth devices. After the scan you should be prompted for the
password (it is usually 0-0-0-0) and the two devices should connect and tell
each other what they can do (file transfer, headset, est.).
The bad thing about Bluetooth right now is that there is no
standard connection method between software vendors. This makes it difficult to
go from one type to another. Your phone might connect very easily while you
computer will take extra steps to connect. Take your time and read through all
the prompts that you are given and you should be able to get it to work.
On a side note, there is a time limit to the scan the your
phone or you computer will do an you might need to re-start the scan a few
times to get it to work.

maybe the driver of your bluetooth are not installed properly.
you can try to reinstall it using your driver cd of acer.

I installed the bluetooth driver, but still doesnt work when i push the bluetooth button. When the laptop its tourning on, the light blue of bluetooth button its lighting on,but when i press the button doesnt appears anything now. Thank you for the last answer, i hope that you give me any solution.thanks
Even I bought the same Laptop but I don't find anywhere that the this machine have Bluetooth.. I went through the manual..
