I have an AEG OKO LAVAMAT 695 and as I could not see the model listed anywhere put my question here. The machine has started flasking a red F6 on the front panel and there has been some water on the floor. Any ideas. Thanks in advance, Graham
The fault code that you have on your washing machine is in fact Fb (fault block?) and not F6. Your machine is telling you that the water level has gone over the safety level more than 6 times, ie there is a problem with the pressure switch or a problem with a blockage or even a split hose in the air pressure system, ie the thin tube. Before you check these things, have you checked the filter at the bottom of the machine as this can cause the machine to flood if blocked, its worth a try. The pressure tube is a thin tube running from the top pressure switch to the bottom near the outlet area. This shd be free from any blockage, blow into it to see if it is free. and replace carefully. Electrics off the wall, etc, etc.
