My printer was working fine till the Waste Ink Tank Full error came up. It seems the waste ink tank is the trough under the printing area with the sponge top. My trough and sponge had dried so there was no reason for the error. It seems that all Canon printers switch off automatically some time after the warranty has expired. This error comes up and Canon charges £80 to re-enter the code on your printer. See the many comments on the www. Someone has cracked the code for some printers but it does not work on the MP360. I did try disconnecting the embedded battery and reconnecting it to no avail. The answer = do not buy Canon.My printer was working fine till the Waste Ink Tank Full error came up.
