E68 error code is a stuck button error code. You can try to wiggle each button on the control panel to make sure they are all functioning freely. If so, then unplug the dryer and leave it unplugged a couple minutes then plug the dryer back in to clear the electronic panel's error code. If the panel still shoes E68, then you'll need to replace the panel. Part#134557201
From what you have described your Frigidaire dryer is showing a "E68" error code. "E68" usually indicates that one of the keys (buttons) is stuck closed (active). You may enter "Function Test Mode" and perform Key Test to determine which button is at fault. To perform the "Function Test Mode": Press and hold the START and CANCEL button at the same time for 10 seconds. The stuck key should blink. Carefully free the key and perform the test again after proper diagnosis. If button is free but the error code still exists, the electronic control will more than likely need replacing. If you do not have a professional connection, you have the option to visit the manufacturer website to find a service provider in your area. Hope this helps! -Matt
I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model# LEQ6000ES2, is showing you an error code of E68 and will not start. I also see that you have changed the thermal limiter. Looking at what the E68 error code means, a key or button stuck, there could be something else causing the code to come up. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance, determine what is causing the E68, and repair your dryer. Hope this is helpful.
I understand you are receiving an E68 error code on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E. The E68 error code states that there is a possibility something is going on with the heating element inside your washer. It could also be a false error code. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start your washer on the hottest cycle on a heavy soil level. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire washer giving you an E68 error code. The E68 could be one or both of two possibilities.
First, it could be the heating element. If the heating element goes out, this means that you would be unable to get the water temperatures to hotter temperatures.
Second, it could be something going on with the main control board inside your washer.
With you receiving the E68 error code, I suggest that you give your washer a hard reset, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. When you restore the power, if you are still receiving the E68 error code, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.
