Well Rog, to the final user is not much of importance since the product (Mozilla), won't change at all (obvious upgrades) and won't cost a cent, but for the owners its something to worry because they would have to pay taxes for all the revenue with the google contract. So, for short, if the court says they're not a non-profit enterprise they'll have to pay a large amount of money but if the court says they are then there will be some "royalties" free of charge (from IRS).
It seems to me that the IRS just wants a piece of that big juicy cake, Don't you think?
