If you would like to change the browser you use you can go to the market place and search for different web browsers.
There are no Restrictions to Which browser is available to you on the Android OS, The OEM Browser is a version of Chrome Light with Webkit backend (kinda same as Iphone 3g). There are more browsers on the way, its up to the Developers and coders to create the codes for the new browsers, Opera is currently in its Beta Form. and im sure Mozilla will come up with something !
At the moment you are restricted to Chrome or Opera.
